Coil Weaving Workshop with Bindimu

This weaving workshop is open to beginner and intermediate weavers and will be hosted on Gumbaynggirr country, (Coffs Harbour) held by Indigenous expert weaver Bindimu Currie. We will be working with Raffia and Lomandra however you may bring fibers or fabric scraps to add to your piece. In this workshop you will learn the meditative coil weaving as Indigenous people have done for many generations.

What to bring;

- a chair if you're unable to be seated on the grass.

- a hat/sun protection (we will be in part shade).

- any fibers you may want to weave with (this is optional as all equipment and materials will be provided).
