About The Event
Create your own wearable art made from Country using seeds, feathers, fibers and upcycled scrap materials.
The workshop will include a short demonstration of different fiber processing and weaving techniques, an explanation on where and how to harvest fibers or how to process fabric scraps/materials. Following that you will have free roam to explore all the fibers and materials you want to use in your creation.
Finished items can include headpieces, hats, native flower crowns, necklace, rings and more. Your imagination is the limit.
**All materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring any fabric scraps or fibers of your own.
**This workshop is suitable for those aged 10 and over.
