Weaving with Country - Bellingen

Creating with native and invasive fibers, Bindimu will be sharing some weaving techniques using fibers such as Lomandra and Typha.

Bindimu will be sharing information on some invasive plant species that can be harvested to help native and endemic species thrive.

**Venue TBC but will be within the Bellingen CBD.**

There will be a short demonstration at the beginning of the workshop so guests are encouraged to arrive on time. 

Workshop includes:

- All fibers and weaving equipment, you are welcome to bring your own fibers or even scrap materials for upclycling. 

- A short demonstration and history on weaving techniques

- Tea/coffee and light refreshments.
